Our ever-expanding “green” selection includes organic and naturally-dyed yarns, handcrafted knitting accessories, and gifts—many from socially-conscious minded suppliers with a socially-conscious mission. We offer a large selection of space-dyed and hand-painted yarns, including many self-patterning sock yarns. Our collection of books covers how-to for beginners and kids; techniques; contemporary accessories; shawls and scarves; socks; garments for babies, children, and adults; toys; afghans and throws; embellishments; felting; and fiber history, too. We also offer many individual patterns, knitting magazines, and kits. All the necessary notions are here, too: individual needles in circular, double-point, and straight in a variety of lengths, with choices from budget-minded to luxurious: bamboo, metal, and hardwood. We have needle sets, crochet hooks, and everything else you need for a well-stocked tool kit or bag. Obviously, we cannot carry everything in each line, but we do have relationships with the following companies, and are often able to order other products from them that we do not normally carry. There may or may not be a minimum order requirement.
