Spinning with Luci Williams

February 12 & 19, 2012

Limited to 6 students--register early. Luci will provide the wheels at no cost and you will learn whether or not a wheel is in your future after the 6 hours of instruction. Discover the entire process from fleece to finished yarn. The first session will give you instruction on a drop spindle, carding the fleece, parts of the spinning wheel and pedal action. The second session will deal totally with the wheel and spinning your first fine yarn.

World Wide Knit in Public Day June 18

knitch will be holding Delafield's first World Wide Knit in Public Day on June 18. More details will be coming soon. It will be a wonderful time to gather with other like minded crafters to show the rest of the world just what we are all about and what beautiful creations we can make. So far we have the support of several shops in historic downtown Delafield who will be offering knitters discounts or treats. Come for some or part of the time, 11-3. We are having our first customer Garage Sale June 2-4, but it is up to YOU to make it a success. We will be collecting your next to new yarn, needles, accessories and books that you no longer want or need and have marked for sale.
