This is a new class offering that is the perfect next step for those knitters who have mastered the beginning knitting skills and are eager to move on to the challenges of making a sweater from start to finish. Using the text from Seven Things that Make or Break a Sweater, Barb will guide the class through a child's sweater from the book that apply teaching techniques to sweaters of any size. She will concentrate on such things as different increases and decreases in ribbed and stockinette patterns, picking up stitches on the neckline and more. Students may continue in this class for several sessions and new techniques will be stressed in each session. Students working their own patterns should enroll in Intermediate Knitting..... What? You don't want to make a children's sweater? Think of it as a convenient vehicle for learning and donate it to one of knitch's many charities.
