This class is for the beginner and not-so-beginner. You will begin with a simple hat designed by Nancy Lindberg using circular needles and DPNs (double pointed needles). Skills taught will be cast on, bind off, knit and purl stitch, basic seaming, and picking up dropped stitches as well as following a basic pattern. Students will progress to a second project at their own speed. Continuing students can sign up for this class as many times as they want to until they move on to Next Step Knitting, Intermediate Knitting, Knitter's Choice, or project- specific classes.
